With over 15 years of experience in the education and publishing industry, I am a strategic leader in contracts and national and global partnerships and was previously at Common Sense Media, a nonprofit organization that empowers parents, teachers, and kids to thrive in a world of media and technology.I have managed teams of editors and educators who created and distribute high-quality, research-based, and culturally responsive content and resources for schools and families. I also developed and maintained strategic relationships with key stakeholders, such as publishers, platforms, media outlets, and advocacy groups, to expand reach, impact, and revenue. Some of my recent achievements include securing a large contract with a major streaming service to produce educational videos, launching a new online platform for teachers to access and share our curriculum, and leading a cross-functional initiative to improve our data collection and analysis processes.
