I've spent the last part of my career as a many hat-wearing Systems Admin/Data Analyst in the outdoor/adventure travel goods market. My Systems Admin portion of my role involved scaling business operations efficiently by integrating our front-end system (Shopify) with our ERP (Netsuite) using Celigo, and managing a variety of integrations, add-ons, and SaaS products (WMSs, 3PLs, JASCI, Fivetran, Azure Data Lake, PowerBI, NoFraud, Kustomer, Loop, Shipstation). Subsequently, as a Data Analyst channeling those systems into an Azure Data Lake, refining them for PowerBI datasets, and crafting detailed KPI reports and dashboards for department leads and the C-Suite. This enabled informed decision-making and enhanced business performance. I specialized in delivering insights that guided strategic decisions for stakeholders.Previously, as a Recreation Coordinator, I organized and oversaw recreational programs and activities for summer camps, student groups, rehabs, and corporate groups. Creating trips to the mountains, managing schedules, coordinating with vendors and staff, and ensuring facilities and equipment were well-maintained. I created diverse programs that catered to various age groups and interests, promoting active lifestyles, and fostering social interaction. Ensuring a positive and enriching recreational experience in the outdoors.My passions go beyond systems and data, gear testing, and taking people on adventures. It flourishes on the process of teaching and assisting others. Whether that's teaching people how to navigate software efficiently, automating packing stations for a distribution center, or showing someone how to tie a figure-eight into their harness. Helping people overcome challenges and working thru problems is where I've found fulfillment in my career.After five years of planning, my partner and I quit or jobs and embarked on an eight-month journey across the globe in January 2024. From trekking in Nepal, volunteering in Thailand, exploring Indonesia, experiencing Vietnam, and eventually tying the knot in Sweden. This was a great adventure that enriched my perspective on life.Now, I’m excited to reenter the job market and explore new opportunities.
