Currently I am practicing Urology work which includes endoscopic procedures viz Internal Urethrotomy, TURP, TUR Bladder Tumor, LASER Prostatectomy, Retro grade uretero renoscopy and Ballistic lithotripsy for ureteral stones. I do Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery with Laser lithotripsy for renal stones. I do ESWL for renal and upper ureteral stones and PCNL for renal stones. I do all kinds of open Urological procedures viz Simple and Radical nephrectomy,Partial Nephrectomy, Pyloplasty, Anatrophicnephrolithotomy,k RadicalcystectomyandContinent urinary diversion,,Augmentationcystoplasty, Ureteroneocystomy,Radical Prostatectomy, Millinsretropubic prostectomy, Urethroplasty, Partial and totalpenectomy etc. I do Penile prosthesis implantation (including Inflatable) for selected cases of erectile dysfunction. I also do laparoscopic urological procedures viz laparoscopic varicocelectomy, laproscopic deroofing renal cyst etc. My pediatric Urology work includes Pyeloplasty, Nephrectomy, Ureteroneocystosomy, Repair hypospadias, Orchiopexy, management of neurogenic bladder and fulguration of posterior urethral valve. My gynecological Urology work includes Repair vesicovaginal fistula, ureterovaginal fistula, Anti incontinence procedures Viz TVT,TOT and, Urethral diverticulectomy etc. My work also includes management of neurogenic bladder, urinary tract infection and male infertility.I am a member of the Renal Transplantation team.

During the 2 years MCh training in Urology I had to conduct outpatient clinics And manage preoperative and postoperative patients. I had to assist and Perform all kinds of endourological and open urological procedures under Supervision. I was trained in endourological procedures like Internal urethrotomy, TURP, TUR, Bladder tumor,cystolitholapaxy, ureteroscopy and PCNL. I was trained in all open urological procedures, nephrectomy, pyelolithotomy, pyeloplasty ureterolithotomy, ureteroneocystostomy, radical cystectomy and continenturinary diversion, repair vesicovaginal & ureterovaginal fistulas, operations for Female stress Incontinence urethroplasty, open prostatectomy, repair hypospadias and other congenital Anomalies. I had training in all aspects of renal transplantation with preparation of both donor and recipient, AV access for hemodialysis, donor nephrectomy, renal transplantation, post operative care etc. During the training period I had on call duties, cases discussions, teaching Ward rounds, review of journals, discussion of various topics. I had attended Regional & National conferences and presented papers.

3 years in training with increasing responsibilities in specialties including Urology, pediatric Surgery, Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery, Accident & Emergency and Cardiothorasic Surgery at Medical College, Trivandrum. During the training Period I had to attend attend OP Clinics, Manage IP Patients, assist and perform all kinds of general surgical operations. We had discussions of cases, topics and Journals. My interest in Urology began during this period of surgical training, and had been geared toward becoming a specialist in Urology.
