I help draft policies, guidelines, working procedures, directives, and regulations concerning wildlife conservation and protected area management as directed by the department. I also review and facilitate implementation of the protected area management plan of 12 national parks, 6 conservation areas, 1 hunting reserve, and 1 wildlife reserve, & conduct field research and monitoring.

Overall planning, implementation, management, and monitoring of protected area management, research, anti-poaching law enforcement, and conservation education activities.

Planning and implementation of wildlife research and monitoring focus on snow leopards, working as an information officer of the park, planning and executing anti-poaching law enforcement patrol, coordinating WCCB meetings.

To oversee the overall management of the organization including fundraising and field activities including river dolphin research and conservation activities

I am leading the team of youths to implement the CLP funded project- “ Ecology and Conservation of Ganges river dolphin in the Karnali river of Nepal”. I will be working to assess the population status and habitat selection patterns of dolphin in the Karnali throughout this year. Additionally, I will further engage in community outreach programs to aware local riverbank community and fishermen on the conservation importance of dolphin and Karnali riverine ecosystem.
