Current Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to the Driller. Participate in pre-tour and pre-task meetings. Work under the direction of the MUD Engeeriner, Driller, and Rig Manager. Perform maintenance and repairs on rig equipment as directed by the Driller. Work on the derrick during tripping operations as directed by the Driller. Operate mud pumps, tanks & line up, solid control equipment, and Mud weight on drilling location. Maintain good housekeeping on the drilling location including rig components, offices, and accommodations. Report incidents, equipment failures, system failures, and abnormalities as per Company procedures To see that maintenance of drilling equipment is carried out. To understand the circulating system. To understand the mixing system. Be familiar with all aspects of drilling equipment and their uses. To maintain safety standards and housekeeping. To be able to nipple up and down BOP's.
