Meta Acoustic Technologies, Inc. is an engineering consulting group involved in providing cutting edge research and practical solutions for problems encountered in industry in the general areas of acoustics, vibrations and noise control. We use finite element based numerical modeling techniques to model and simulate industrial problems to find practical solutions. Mathur received his Ph.D. from Purdue University in Mechanical Engineering at Ray W. Herrick Laboratories. Over the past 35 years, Dr. Mathur has been recognized for his excellence in technical work, management leadership and technical direction for a variety of projects dealing with noise control with aerospace vehicles. His work experience and research are in areas including acoustics, aircraft engine liners, acoustic metamaterials, active noise control, structural acoustics, signal processing, vibrations and damping, composite structures and systems engineering. Dr. Mathur’s employment history contains a wide range of work environments in the aerospace industry, including commercial and military aircraft, launch vehicles, rotorcraft, and general aviation and has been mainly associated with R&D activities. His professional background includes analytical/numerical, modeling/simulation and testing experience.
