Gopalakrishnan Krishnamurthi (GK) is the Vice President and Head of Global Pre-sales and Solutions at Fujitsu. In his current role, he is responsible for promoting Fujitsu’s global offerings and global standards in international markets across different industry sectors, maximizing value for customers, and establishing pre-sales as well as solutions capabilities that support business growth and embed DX technology.In his previous role as the Head of Global Sales Enablement, he led global pre-sales and deals across all regional divisions and service lines of Fujitsu.With a career spanning over 30 years in multiple sectors including education and various facets of IT services, he brings in depth industry knowledge and has managed application services portfolios, including bookings, demand generation, partners and advisors’ relationships, marketing & communication, presales, solutions, and delivery of transformation and large-scale programs including P&L responsibilities. He spearheaded large to mega deals and instrumental in both winning new business, and retention and expansion of existing business. His close engagement with C-level client executives as a strategic partner to build and implement strategic as well as transformational programs has been instrumental in growing the business, securing marquee clients, and adding value across all accounts. Gopalakrishnan is extremely passionate about new age technology and has focused on incorporating digital technologies through several projects that he has undertaken.Prior to joining Fujitsu, Gopalakrishnan was with Capgemini as The Group Offer Leader for the AMS (Application Managed Services) portfolio & Europe Head for AMS COE responsible for enabling business growth and increase of market share.Gopalakrishnan completed his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), Electronics and Communication from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. His preferred ways of unwinding include spending time with his family, traveling and exploring international cuisine and culture.
