Develops layouts for components and systems. Prepares design drawings, calculations with the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the company’s IT & security, and telecommunication system. Provides information and makes recommendations having minor impact to the projectResponsibilities include:-Prepares scaled work order maps using computer aided design software (CAD) such as Auto-desk, Utility Design (AUD) and Design Manager (DM).-Checks Planner’s deadlines for accuracy and completeness prior to completing the drafting/drawing.-Consult with Planners and other planning personnel to prepare design drawings and modifications as required.-Create and maintain a safety conscious work environment by leading and influencing others to follow Edison safety protocols and safe work practices.-Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.-Provide detail, assembly, specification, and instructional drawings for all of the above-Document all other non-drawing information using Word, Excel-Participate in group discussions and Web Meetings regarding projects.
