Key Responsibilities include:• Designing and implementing dimensional data modelling and optimizing the performance of database queries and stored procedures. • Creating Data warehouse environment including developing stored procedures, SSIS ETL packages and Cognos reports and deploying into all the working environments.• Involved in market analysis and prepared reports of average audience for SBS television channels across Australia.• Liaise with business users, architects and designers for gathering functional and non-functional requirements in designing and developing data marts and reporting structures.• Migrated Sales and Revenue reports/Dash board and ETL packages from legacy applications to Microsoft BI Stack.• Development of DTSX packages in SSIS, to extract data from various sources/applications in the form of flat files, excel files and from other databases (Oracle, MS Access, MS SQL Server 2008 R2) using SSIS connection manager tools and CDC (Change Data Capture) tools like DBMoto to load the data into ware house.• Creating SSIS packages, deploying in SQL Server and executing them through SQL Server Agent as batch jobs for daily data loads.• Implementing optimization techniques to the new and existing queries/jobs, by applying indexes, table level hints and “staging table” approaches.

Key Responsibilities include:• Error Correction:o On customer accounts during service installation, restart, change of service, disconnection, trouble call (TC) or Special request order (SRO) requests.o Correcting errors on scheduled/routed, truck-roll and no-truck CMBS orders.o Customer address conflicts between CMBS-MAD-OPMS systems.o Phone number issues with number availability, barred and unbarred statuses in local number portability cases.o Service activation, suspension and interruption due to non-payment of bills.o Correcting Pre-provisioning errors and multiple party-Id conflicts in MAD application.• Data Extraction & Analysis:o Providing HFC customer data reports to business users as and when required.o Extracting customer reports based on plans, to identify and fix the incorrect rate code combinations.• Providing support for CMBS configuration team in reviewing and implementing new plans before release for sales.• Investigate complex issues, identify and implement solutions to re-occurring problems.• Client facing and maintaining relationships with key clients.• Adhere to appropriate departmental procedures and practices (such as auditing requirements, control procedures and incident management procedures) • Data Extraction & Analysis:o Providing customer/billing/payments/provisioning data reports to business users on ad-hoc request.o Extracting customer reports based on subscribed plans, to identify and fix the incorrect rate plan combinations.• Developed and maintained working relationship with Solution designers, Business Analysts External vendors and clients.
