As part of the reconstruction project for state road D 506 in Croatia, approximately 10 km in length, I contributed during the execution phase. The project involved the complete removal of existing pavement structures, site cleaning, and the construction of earthworks including embankments, cut slopes, stabilization using shotcrete, anchors, and geotechnical mesh, as well as water drainage. As part of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA) development project for the new Northern Ring Road in the city, which includes the construction of new rock tunnels, a concrete environmental tunnel, and a concrete subsea tunnel, I contributed as an intern to key geotechnical efforts, including the monitoring and assessment of ground settlement around the tunnels and surrounding areas.• Worked on geotechnical problems and solutions within infrastructure projects, focusing on soil analysis for road and tunnel constructions, and measuring pore pressure using specialized geotechnical software.• Conducted research work involving preparatory tasks and drilling holes for soil testing, collaborating in the soil mechanics and materials technology department to enhance my understanding of computer programs used in geotechnics.
