Stylitics is an AI-oriented fashion technology company that specializes in providing insights and personalized recommendations to enhance the retail experience.- Worked on the rule engine used to orchestrate the generation of recommendations between human stylists and automated machine learning based systems.- Implemented a set of tools and processes that automate the management of productrecommendations in relation to item stock levels- Carried out various improvements to the efficiency, relevance and accuracy of the recommendations

Fy! is an online marketplace that streamlines the product creation all the way from an artist who designs an image to the end customer who has it on their wall, cushion or phone case.- Feature development across the stack: from the Clojure/Datomic API backend to the React Native mobile app.- Planned and implemented a series of improvements to the overall service reliability which greatly reduced the rate of incidents such as service loss, failed orders, performance degradation and others.- Implemented various product experiments intended to improve the business critical metrics, such as user retention rate, purchase rate and others.

Wifinity is a UK based WiFi subscription provider.- Developed a new management tool that integrates the hardware used to provide the service (access points, routers and similar) with the sales and subscription system and all that with the tools used by customer support, thus unifying formerly disjoint systems into a single integrated system.- Helped develop a new version of WiFi captive portal (the popup page that comes up on the phone when the connection requires a signup).- Took part in the integration of a large software acquisition from a former service provider (billing module).

It provides an easy interface for golfers, caddies and golf club staff to schedule caddie bookings, confirm availability by SMS and automatically charge for the service.Developed and deployed the whole project. This involved full stack development, testing, deployment and production setup.Mytalengi Sep 2015 - Aug 2015Mytalengi is an Irish recruiter startup designed to specifically target software developers by analyzing their online footprint on various places all around the web.Designed and developed a search engine prototype that lets users search for developers online. Led the subsequent development effort needed to productize the software and bring it to market.Taxamo Dec 2014 - Apr 2015Taxamo is a real-time solution to calculate tax for selling digital goods online.Developed a microservice-based module that generates VAT invoices fully compliant with EU regulation changes.

Site Fiesta is an intuitive online advertising platform designed for direct use by the small business owners. The goal was to enable prospective customers to get from not having a site to running a relatively simple online advertising campaign for their shop in a manner of minutes.Fully developed the application specs. Implemented a completely functional prototype. Prepared the business plan (including market research and legal aspects) and estimated the project feasibility and expected revenue.

Webpuzzle is a collaborative online web publishing platform which combines the flexibility of having a custom-tailored website with the ease of use of a modern form-based CMS platform.Carried out series of extensive changes of system architecture, mostly concerning the system's core functionality. Increased the effectiveness of page import feature from ~ 40% to 90%. This measure describes how well does the imported internal model of a page correspond to the original web page.

The overall project consisted of a variety of in-house tools for SEM (Search Engine Marketing) including bid management, web traffic tracking, relevant performance statistics, online campaign generation and similar for most major online advertising channels. From the technical perspective, the key challenge was in retaining acceptable application performance in face of ever increasing traffic and data volume.
