• Assisting in running housekeeping management team of 15 members, 250 department team members, 2000 staterooms and 40.000m2 of public areas. • Daily Oversee Public Area Manager, Crew Area Manager, Night Shift Manager, Linen Room Manager, Stateroom Manager, Floor Supervisors and Pool & Deck Supervisors.• Issue daily assignments for middle management according to job specific needs.• Schedule and supervise duties ensuring all assigned projects are completed as per companies’ standards in a timely manner. • Ensure all assignments comply with Housekeeping procedures as set in CCL Safety Management Systems (SMS) Manual as well as compliance with (USPH) – United States Public Health regulations, as set out in (VSP) – Vessel Sanitation Program manual. • Train, organize, develop and motivate middle HSKP management in proper handling and use of chemicals, safety and Garbage Management programs to ensured that team members and management are in compliance with all safety regulations at all times. • Daily walk-arounds and follow-ups on all job’s assignments ensuring job quality, safety and productivity check. • Perform performance appraisals of team members and management working in assigned areas as per CCL policy and guidelines. • Leading management meetings with ideas and implementation of the same with problem solving approach. • Monitoring and managing department costs and resources effectively and increase laundry services and revenue generating opportunities where possible.• Ensuring cleaning standards are met through effective monitoring of areas of responsibility. Identify any fixtures or fittings furnishing in need of renewal / repair• Hold HSKP weekly meetings with middle management conveying any important information from Corporate office or Hotel Management meetings while micro managing HSKP operation by planning ahead and executing scheduled tasks.
