The idea behind Smart Aviation Group Europe is to unite likeminded people from the aviation industry. This includes airports, airlines, software / hardware providers, and other firms in and around aviation.The main goal of the organisation is to make aviation processes "smarter" and save energy, money and time for airports, airlines and other stakeholders in the industry. The ultimate result will be the reduction of CO2 output for all parties involved and orientation to green energy.

I have the great privilege to sit with amazing, smart, and talented people on the supervisory board of Split Parking d.o.o. Our main goal is to be the voice of the people of Split, and to work in their best interest.

I am currently working as Project Manager creating mobile apps and other software solutions. My responsibilities are project preparation, project execution and delivery. During project preparation, I spend time with the product owner and analyse the requirements. On some projects I cover the product owner function and am responsible for writing the requirement specifications and user stories. Based on that I create the project plan and allocate the necessary resources needed to execute the project. I am responsible for the project execution which means that I distribute the tasks to the team members based on their skill level and oversee the project until it's ready for delivery.

As team lead of the mobile development team, my main responsibilities were the execution of all mobile apps projects for both iOS and Android. My second responsibility was to inspire the team to get better every day. I would approach each team member based on their skill level and challenge them with tasks to help them improve themselves and, by doing so, the whole team.

I started as Architect and iOS Developer but became Project Manager very quickly. My reposnibilities as Project Manager were the creation of the requirement specification together with the client, planning of the project, execution of the project and delivery. One of the most important projects I was working on was the Smart City prototype project for Smart Street Parking in Split. My job was to find and present a solution to the client, create the technical requirement specification, create the software architecture for the iOS app, Android app, the backend (Node.js) and for the database. The project was a huge success and is now recognized as one of the biggest implementations of Smart City solutions in Europe.

I am working, first as a developer and now as project manager, for several years on a JAVA version for our Airport Software - AS that controls all aspects of airport businesses including: 1. Passenger departure control(DCS), 2. Flight information displays(FIDS) and sound systems(FISS), 3. Baggage reconciliation(BRS), 4. Future planing of parking positions, 5. Management of all scheduled flights(Flight Management), 6. Charging of parking time, 7. Aircraft balancing(Weight & Balance), 8. Creating many kinds of flight and charge statistics, 9. Sending of messages between airports using IATA standards(NSITA)10. Ramp agent PDA device applicationsetc.My responsibilites were creating the functional specifications, technical requirements (including the system architecture) and project execution and delivery. I am leading a team of 8 software developers. This project has the duration of 3 years and is currently installed and used in Dubrovnik Airport.This project was developed using JAVA, Javascript, HTML, ASP.NET, WINDOWS MOBILE 6 and is using ORACLE DB.
