As the VP of Franchising and Business Development at WingsUp! Restaurants, I create and lead the implementation of development strategies, goals, and tactics that result in the growth of existing franchise markets and entry into new and underdeveloped markets. With over 10 years of experience in this role, I have successfully recruited pools of qualified franchise candidates, provided critical input into the budget for the franchise development unit, and provided recommendations for prioritized new markets to target for growth.I have a diverse educational background, with a diploma in Business Administration and Management from McMaster University and an Ontario Real Estate License from OREA. I also have over 12 years of experience in real estate and franchise development, site selection, and lease negotiation in the restaurant and food service industry. I possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills and the ability to develop mutually beneficial internal and external relationships.
