MTO), usability and design for train traffic control centers. Also researching Guidelines for Design and preparing for a Design System..Usability and User-Centered Design: “full stack” from User Research to usability evaluation. An ongoing effort that make facts for all species in Sweden as well as determination of species and nature conservation available through digitized services. The client, The Swedish Species Information Centre (sv. SLU Artdatabanken), accumulates, analyses and disseminates information concerning the species and habitats occurring in Sweden.

My contribution is to define requirements and measure the usability of the digital systems offered by various vendors. I’ve developed a solid measuring method in order to execute these kinds of summative usability evaluations accurately.The Swedish Higher Education Authority (sv. UKÄ – Universitetskanslersämbetet) to further digitize their workplace and interaction with their target audiences.

ResearcherI work part time as teacher and researcher in a joint project with the Uppsala County Council and Uppsala University Hospital – Akademiska Sjukhuset. The objectives are to help the county council and the hospital with business and organisational development with regards to IT. Special focus is on the development and deployment of the patient administrative systems, including electronical medical records (EMR). ConsultantSenior Usability Specialist and Interaction Designer. Hands-on interaction design, mentorship and usability "governance" for hire!I was the first usability consultant at IT-Arkitekterna. We are now eight highly experienced and professional consultants. Our consultants practical experience spans from ten up to 25 years. The groups merits includes one professor in HCI at KTH and four PhD's.Our strategy is to include usability as a natural and enhancing part of our business offerings as well as integrated in the systems development process.

ConsultantI was the "lead architect" and “champion” behind the company’s user-centered systems design business strategy. I was also the informal team leader for the company’s group of usability experts.During this period I also did my PhD. It was a true "cross-pollination" between industrial practice and academia research. Action research in both industrial and research projects.Major outcome were the key principles for user-centered systems design, a process framework for user-centered systems design and definition of usability roles in organisations and projects.
