It’s a great honor to represent the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) as a Regional Manager (REAC) for Eastern, Central, and Southern Europe. The countries in my portfolio as a REAC are Albania, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Türkiye, and Ukraine. I support the EducationUSA network by maintaining and building the capacity of the global network of advising centers through training and professional development, advancing collaboration with the U.S. higher education community, and promoting U.S. colleges and universities to an international audience. The REAC also works closely with U.S. higher education institutions in their international recruitment efforts, and provides advice and recommendations on student mobility issues to ECA, U.S. Public Affairs Sections (PAS) with U.S. Missions overseas and other relevant stakeholders.
