• Making daily student contacts by face to face, phone and email. This includes updating academic achievement of students when the attempt or pass assessments.• Keeping student resources updated in “Moodle’ online student support website.• Responding to distance student phone and email questions about each unit of the course.• Conducting assessment roleplays with students either in person, by phone or skype.• Sending regular progress reports to students.• Marking student assessments, creating mark sheets, logging entries in Double Take student management system.• Level 3 and 4 travel and tourism marking including some computer papers and logging out of marked papers for student records.• Resource development for new assessments.• Assisting with internal moderation of course work.• I am also the Health and Safety Coordinator for the Academy/Quantum Campus.

Maintaining company business contacts in terms of membership agreements and Terms and Conditions, explaining marketing options and costs to Tourism Businesses and arranging presentations and site visits for new tourism products for both Visitor Centre and CCT Marketing staff. I also updated operator listings on the Company website(both text and images), and kept services and prices up to date in the Visitor Centre reservations database as well as the company’s Customer Relations System. I was also responsible for the correct display of the Business Partner brochures in the largest single Visitor Centre at the time in New Zealand.After a restructuring in February 2009, I worked for a further four months at CCT in a special project related to adding content to the new CCT website until I started new employment in June 2009.

I provided clients with transport, accommodation and activity information and bookings, including all the major tourism providers such as Intercity Coach lines, Inter-islander, Tranz Scenic Train Services and many varied accommodation options from some high end Hotels and Boutique Lodges to backpackers and holiday parks. Rental vehicle bookings were another key part of the role using multiple different operators.Itinerary planning for multi day trips was required for some of our clients and involved creating client profiles to match their needs.Accurate cash handling and reconciliation skills were required as consultants balanced their own tills at the end of each shift. Consultants often made site visits to experience tourism operations and facilities.From June 2002 to October 2004, I was a weekend supervisor in charge of the centre and staff during my rostered weekends. I was also one of the top sales consultants among our team.
