With 20 years of experience at Chief Executive Officer and Senior Management level, a wealth of skills & knowledge has been accumulated. Commencing his career with Allied Bank as an Investment Clerk he moved into the Agricultural sector for a short while before being appointed as the youngest CEO of a Municipality in South Africa in 1992.Between 2001& 2004, Gordon ran his own businesses as a farmer and thereafter as a consultant in the Finance & Corporate Services disciplines.From 2005 he took up a senior management position as Financial & Administrative Manager for a multimillion rand company in the forestry sector. Resigning in 2012 the position had grown to that of being Financial & Administration Manager of two sizable companies with a staff of in excess of 1300 employees.Starting Rivers Consultancy Gordon seeks to provide solutions to small & large businesses alike “Building People Building Business” with a work ethic of Integrity, Excellence & Innovativeness. Gordon is married to Heidi.
