Data management practices can tell you a lot about the overall health of an organization. No matter the industry, companies need to be able to stay on top of their customer relations, bookkeeping, and sales process. Without a properly designed database, however, any data management policies can only take you so far. Developing efficient and effective databases, tailored to the unique needs of each company, is a puzzle that never ceases to keep me engaged, utilizing the skills that I have developed over the course of my career. With master’s degrees in anthropology and criminology, I explored human behavior and developed strong interpersonal communication skills and interview techniques, all of which aid in obtaining a thorough understanding of what my clients need. Through my industry certifications, I have a strong understanding of how databases should be structured and the security considerations that should be taken into account to protect and manage data. Combined with my communication skills, I am uniquely positioned to put anything I learn about by clients’ operations into practice. I help small and medium-sized businesses with database analysis, design, and security.
