Oh my. I earned money the old fashioned way by actually working for it. Fortunately there has been no coupon clipping, trust funding, of free loading for my wife and me. I started working at age 12 (1955) when I made 25 cents an hour plus an unpleasant room and board courtesy of my abusive step father. A similarly lousy work environment was in Vietnam as a soldier of misfortune for the US govt. The best job, until retirement, was as a mountaineering instructor for the Colorado Outward Bound School. Now as co-owner, with my wife, of the Bar Lazy B game refuge, the pleasures of a rustic, rural life in the Teton Valley, is the most satisfying unemployment of all. No regrets.
