Recruited by and worked for Internexus, the combination of English Language Study Centers, where I had previously worked, and Yazigi Language Schools (Brazil). Times were tough in the Brazilian study abroad industry and then the September 11, 2001 attacks rocked the international education exchange industry. All of the salaried employees (this was largely a Brazilian family business) at U.S. headquarters were laid off.

Oversaw and grew a subcontracted program, American Language Academy. Twice awarded week-long European vacations for highest revenue gains and fiscal responsibility for company of 17 branch locations. Served on Merrimack College committees. Gained accreditation status with "no weaknesses" with Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET).

Started as Assistant Director at the ELSC hosted at Westminster College a few months after earning MA in TESOL. After 1.5 years, I was promoted to Director and asked to oversee the branch hosted at Southern Utah University. Grew the program to second largest in the seven-branch language company. Traveled to East Asia on numerous occasions and formed very successful relationships with three colleges and received several cohorts of students from them.
