Responsible for safety, cost, quality, on time shipment, customer satisfaction and year over year productivity improvement via Lean principles for 178 shop floor associates and ten professionals to produce medical laboratory equipment. My areas of responsibility cover production areas related to fabrication, paint, vacuum forming, laboratory furnace assembly / test, heat exchange, cold storage, centrifugation assembly / test and the insourcing of medical equipment assembly / test from a contract manufacturer. I am responsible to four Research & Development groups and Business Unit General Managers.

Senior Procurement Leader of a 500 person manufacturing facility producing highly engineered low volume / high mix medical equipment. Annual Direct Material spend of $70M. • Drove detailed Work Breakdown Structure via Micro Soft Project Management that resulted in over $6M in cost reductions from 2009 to 2014 and the launch of multiple New Product Development programs.• Drove Lean Supply Chain processes by having over 50% of direct material on pull systems.• Increased Low Cost Region (LCR) content for the Asheville site from less than 3% in 2009 to 36% at the end of 2013 to meet corporate objectives.• Lead Sourcing project management in the closure of two facilities and consolidation into the Asheville facility.• Key Performance Metrics accountable for.o On time Project Completion and ROI Obtainment, Supplier Reduction, Material Cost Take Out (MCTO), Percentage of Suppliers on Demand Pull, Supplier Defective Parts Per Million (SDPPM), Supplier On Time Delivery (SOTD)

Senior Staff Leader responsible for developing sales opportunites and implementation of strategic sourcing strategies outsourcing to Low Cost Regions. Lead sales and strategic sourcing project management for a privately owned company as subcontractor to major corporations such as GE, Cooper, Hubbel, Volvo, Roper Industries and other major corporations.

Management team for plant start up of a 300 person plant producing electrical connectors and fittings. • Achieved / maintained 95% fill rate, 90% of purchases via supplier managed inventories, drove 90% of annual purchases to payment terms of +70 days and exceeded inventory and cost reduction objectives by consolidating supplier base from 276 suppliers to 73 within 24 months.

Directed purchasing staff of thirteen Buyer / Planners in support of 600-person golf car manufacturing facility. Purchasing spend over $100M. Reduced steel cost by $380K and implemented supplier managed inventory program with daily deliveries.

Successfully held increased levels of responsibility of sourcing and procurement management in three divisions and at the corporate level.
