Greetings to all who are looking at my Profile! Looking at the progression path of my career, you can see that I do take continuous improvement to heart. I take pride in my work and never tire of the challenges laid before me. I am currently retired from United States Gypsum Company as a service 6 technician attached to the engineering department. For 43 years my quest for improvement has taken me down several paths, from production to maintenance and supervisory responsibilities. Formal training in Boiler operations and waste water treatment has increased my overall value with the company. Safety involvement and training is another key ingredient to my success at USG. Safety is now a personal priority embedded within my management style. In 2009 I earned an associate degree in Industrial Management and in 2011 Suma Cum Laude with a BBA in Organizational Management from Tiffin University. This by far was my greatest professional and personal achievement. Balancing a job, home and family, and college gave me an understanding of the importance and skill of time management. The housing bubble and an influx of many young and talented candidates have inhibited my advancement opportunities at USG. In the absence of new opportunity and student loan obligations I accepted a second job in the retail environment at Wal-Mart. There my hunger for new information and job skills were satisfied. Supply Chain philosophy, Logistics, Customer service and Communication skills were added to my portfolio. I am currently retired from both jobs but am always looking for a new challenge and simply another assignment. I am looking to provide value to a supportive company that needs an honest , experienced, professional associate on their team. I would consider part time or contract work.
