My ancestry dates back to Salem colony and Amsterdam, New York. My grandfather was a Brown University educated accountant and my great-grandmother was a New York City school principal.My great uncle was a Scout Master in Havre de Grace and I followed in his footsteps and became a Scout myself. One of my favorite memories was constructing a rope bridge as part of the Jamboree at the Timonium Fairgrounds, and I was thankful to participate in community activities including outdoor beautification such as cleaning debris from the roadside.I'm a regular churchgoer and have attended many different types of services including Catholic, Friends Meeting, Unitarian and Baptist offerings. I have sung in choirs and also play the trumpet and keyboards.My grandfather operated a radio room in my youth and heavily inspired me to become a radio amateur myself. I possess a Technician Class License and additionally attend meetings of the NEM Amateur Radio Club in Bel Air. I've always had a knack for electronics and electronic repair; I built my first meter kit and started working for Upper Crossroads Television in my teenage years and I'm still passionate about the subject matter to this day.
