• Complete engine overhauls on marine and oil and gas related diesel engines offshore, on board vessels and in the Aberdeen workshop• Offshore surveys to pre-plan jobs and report findings prior to work commencing• Offshore trips to diagnose, report and repair issues on diesel engines including cranes, emergency generators, fire pumps and main drive engines on board vessels• Stripping, cleaning and rebuilding of all major engine components that are sold on as service exchange basis • Fine tuning of diesel engines - mechanical and electronically controlled units• Engine servicing and preservative maintenance • Wide range of diesel engines covered small and large including but not limited to Detroit Diesel, Cummins, Caterpillar, Deutz, Ruston, Wartsila, Mercedes, Perkins, Volvo Penta, MTU, Bergen, MAN• Oil and fuel testing• Installation and operation of fuel cleaning skids on board vessels and offshore installations • Repair and replacement of hydraulic engine starting systems• Flange assembly, bolting and torqueing• Engine protection testing and calibration• Detailed report writing• Use of various permit to work and safety management systems• Equipment coupling alignment – with dial test indicators or laser alignment toolingSERVICE MANAGER DURING 2017• Managing and leading a squad of field service engineers on and offshore• Composing all work packs for the engineers prior to mobilisation• Direct point of contact for all clients during ongoing projects• Creating accurate parts lists required for jobs ensuring everything required was onsite to prevent downtime• Receiving all daily and final job reports for engineers prior to being sent to the client• Creating risk assessments and method statements as required by clients before engineers mobilised work sites• Creating root cause analysis failure reports for clients with all information and documentation received from field service engineers • Technical support to the field service engineers

· Service, repair, maintenance and testing of various diesel engines including but not limited to Detroit Diesel, Caterpillar, Perkins, Mercedes and Volvo Penta· Service, repair, maintenance and testing of diesel powered compressor mainly Ingersol Rand and Atlas Copco units· Service, repair, maintenance and testing of triplex pumps, centrifugal pumps, jetting pumps, submersible pumps and high pressure test pumps.· Travelling offshore as and when required to assist in the rigging up, operation and maintenance of specialist equipment.· Preparing and packing load outs for the various projects· Rigging up equipment and simulating spreads for the clients to witness prior to mobilisation.

· Offshore trips to rigging up, testing and operating diesel driven triplex pumping units· Offshore trips servicing and maintaining diesel engines and triplex pumps· Offshore trips for emergency break downs on diesel engine skids· Service, repair and maintenance of diesel engines, mostly but not limited to Detroit Diesel, Perkins, Mercedes and Volvo Penta.· Service, repair and maintenance of triplex pumps including SPM, OPI and HT400 units· Service, repair and maintenance of other fluid pumps including centrifugal, jetting and test pumps.· Horsepower testing of engine skids· Pressure testing of triplex pumps · Calibration of shutdown probes, temperature sensors and other engine protection equipment· Any maintenance of storage tanks, batch mixers and all the smaller equipment. Working as part of the offshore service crew on coil tubing and pressure pumping jobs when required
