In order to expand my work experience but also see a bit of the world I moved to England to seek my next role.---------------------------------------------------------------------Duties included complete 3D surfacing and modelling of either existing 2D component geometry, or from scratch, in order to facilitate the manufacture of the respective injection.

First post-qualification position held after completion of Toolmaking apprenticeship.-------------------------------------Manufacturing of plastic injection moulds to the requirements of various industrial customers. Following completion of high school I decided to follow in fathers footsteps and enter into a Toolmaking apprenticeship. This was after a years military service and also a years backpacking throughout the globe.------------------------------------------------------------------------------Progression from manufacturing basic jigs and moulds to more advanced.

As part of a mandatory national service program, I enlisted in the SA Infantry before volunteering to attend basic training and selection phase at 44 Parachute Brigade. Subsequent to successful selection and jump course, specialized warfare training continued until eventual transfer to 451 Parachute Battalion in Phalaborwa.
