I run a non Profit, 501(c)3 called Hunting with Soldiers (www.huntingwithsoldiers.org), providing all expense paid outdoor adventures with the goal of providing healing through the outdoors to Combat Veterans who suffer the effects of PTSD. Providing supplies, food, housing, and all needed tools to gain the healing through the outdoors for these Men and Women. My Organization has no paid staff. We provide some outdoor adventures to Gold Star Children as well as scholarships for them. Gold Star Children are the ones who lost a parent who was serving on Active Duty.

I created Hunting with Soldiers to give back to our Combat Veterans who suffer form the effects of PTSD. When I created it I was determined that we would NEVER have any paid Staff. When created we had only 2 deer stands and 2 feeders. We are now a 501(c)3 Guide Star approved Non-Profit. We go all over the State of Texas and Oklahoma for Outdoor Adventures for our Combat Veterans (we are looking to expand). We have also included Outdoor Adventures and a Scholarship Fund for the Children of the Men and Women who lost their life while Serving our Country (Gold Star Kids). We divide our Donations and Fund Raisers as follows: 80% to the Outdoor Adventures & 20% to the Salute to Gold Star Children Scholarship Fund. We strive to eliminate as many of the 22 a day that we can (22 Combat Veterans commit suicide each day). We believe that the Outdoors is the best healing medicine a person can receive.
