Worked on the Autonomous Mobility Applique System (AMAS) with the Systems Test and Integration group. Located on base at Fort Carson testing AMAS vehicles for System Verification Testing (SVT). Ran scripts in Ubuntu to confirm the vehicles’ autonomous abilities. Performed tests to identify problems with the system before formal SVT testing. Worked with the customer to demonstrate the system capabilities and the testing process. The testing resulted in amending SVT compliance documents and procedures to improve testing process.

Worked on AMAS assisting mechanical engineers with mechanical design and rapid prototyping. Built and repaired parts in machine shop for existing prototype trucks. Worked in lab to build and repair electronics used on existing trucks. Designed parts using Solidworks 3D modeling software to be used on autonomous military cargo trucks. The resulting designed parts allowed easy implementation of new sensor equipment on the trucks.

Worked on the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) assisting with technical investigations, failure reviews and Corrective Action Board (CAB) analyses. Employed Visual Basic Application (VBA) programming skills to develop and execute software to run Statistical Process Control (SPC) procedure on rocket test data in Microsoft Excel. Developed and implemented a unique database containing all current and historical rocket test data. Created an original algorithm to identify faulty inputs in rocket software preventing catastrophic hardware damage. This algorithm was implemented immediately and resulted in the identification of faulty rockets in the field.
