I have 15 years' experience in adult and higher education and currently specialise in learning development and academic skills support at the University of Portsmouth with the Institute of Criminal Justice Studies. I support students from FHEQ levels 4 to 8 (undergraduate to doctoral level) both in the institute's campus-based programmes and their substantial distance learning provision.I provide bespoke 1:1 student support as well as designing and delivering both small and large group sessions that focus on academic skills support. Away from my student-facing responsibilities, I consult and support colleagues on matters of pedagogy, assessment and feedback.
