I have been the Managing Director of our family business Morgan Blacksmiths (Scotland) Ltd since 1998, working alongside my brother Craig and sister Fiona, which can have its challenges...We are a family business that prides ourselves in our quality of workmanship and reliability. We manufacture all forms of metalwork in our workshop in Cumbernauld.As MD, I ensure smooth progress of contracts from the first meeting on site to manufacturing in-house and to final installation on site.I began my career in 1985 as an Apprentice Blacksmith/Fabricator for the company and I still enjoy getting my hands dirty in the workshop assisting in manufacturing the more complex projects.
