I’ve decided to get into property so I have a strong portfolio whenever I transition out of the Armed Forces. I want to do somewhere where I can help people and give something back to the community and property seemed the best fit - To provide affordable housing to families. It's important to me that my tenants feel secure and comfortable in my property. In a way, I'm a small-time business owner too. I manage the upkeep, keep the books in order, and make sure everything runs smoothly. There can be nights I spend fixing some problem or another, but I also get the satisfaction of seeing someone happy in a place I helped maintain. It's a balance between keeping things running and being a resource for my tenants.
