Gordon is an inventor, a problem solver and founder/owner of multiple successful businesses. He currently is the "brain" behind EDGE VanWorks located in Livermore, California. EDGE VanWorks was created to answer the needs of the emerging vanlife lifestyle. Previously he was the Founder and a Partner at EDGE Motorworks, Inc, (with locations in Dublin, Ca and Mountain View, Ca). EDGE Motorworks is a premium service automotive business with particular expertise in BMW, MINI Cooper and Porsche as well as competition race vehicles (www.edgemotorworks.com). Gordon also founded Left Coast Diesel, Inc. (with locations in Concord, Ca and Livermore, Ca). Left Coast Diesel provides light diesel performance and maintenance, specializing in Dodge, Ford, Chevrolet, Mercedes, VW and BMW diesels (www.leftcoastdiesel.com). Gordon successfully sold each of his previous automotive and diesel businesses to specific employees and each of these businesses run independently to this day.He started his career in hardware tech manufacturing where he led teams in manufacturing, test engineering, customer service and business process design & optimization. His software tech experience includes operations management , manufacturing and quality systems implementation, IT operations, and enterprise applications management.In Gordon's previous life in the software industry, he led teams in both small and large enterprises including PeopleCapital and Novell. He also ran his own process improvement consulting company.Gordon's education includes a BS in Business Administration and an MS in Computer Information Systems, both from the University of Phoenix.
