* Designed, developed, and implemented a freight brokering system used to optimize logistics operations for Procter & Gamble, fully integrating warehouse management, accounting, freight consolidation, and shipment status systems, resulting in strategic advantage, improved controls, and enhanced performance measurement* Managed the development of a warehouse management system for use in Spain, Mexico, and United States operations that became the preferred system solution for Exel Logistics (parent company)* Led the $1.5 million functional systems consolidation of over 100 sites that were using three different systems, resulting in increased consistency & accuracy while reducing 16 FTE* Directed the $1.2 million conversion of a paper based, 600,000 square foot distribution center for seven divisions of Becton Dickinson, to a complete EDI and RF/bar code center, resulting in a 40% clerical labor reduction, improved accuracy, and increased capability to handle additional business* Spearheaded the information systems start up of a regional consolidation hub for Chrysler using EDI with plant production systems, routing, in-cab cellular technology devices, and cross-dock shipment management functionality resulting in uninterrupted service and significant transportation savings* Designed and managed the integration of Dupont's information systems with third party warehouse management system, providing seamless flow of goods and information, nearly $2 million annual cost savings and improved cycle times for customer orders* Directed the integration of three corporate accounting systems into a client/server consolidated general ledger, using ORACLE, which enabled acquisitions to be quickly merged into financial reporting systems
