Ux Researcher & Content StrategistParticipant Assistive Products Aug 2019 - Aug 2019San Francisco, California, UsBasic needs are solved through access to the education, work, health care and social life opportunities that are nearby. Everyone can have what they need to participate fully in life. Participant is using advances in technology to make affordable assistive products - starting with wheelchairs and strollers.In a 3-week sprint, I designed from scratch a fully functional Facebook Messenger chatbot to provide scalable support to parents of wheelchair-using children in developing countries. Two two-week pilot tests with five women in Kenya of very low income, minimal education, and low bandwidth devices reported the chatbot conversation was easy and the help was relevant and effective. The UX quality was rated to be good with notes that the bot was fast, cheap to use, reliable, and understandable.I shaped the clear, compassionate voice of MeerkatBot based on synthesis of surveys, comparative analysis, usability testing, and healthcare expert interviews, reiterated 50+ messages 4 times for full chatbot chat flow per user research insights.To guide product direction, I strategized the 10-paragraph user story into 10-step user flow, benefiting simplicity. -

Our flexible network mediation solution, leading mobile programmatic exchange, and years of expertise in mobile app advertising mean publishers trust us to help them maximize their ad revenue and control their user experience.Using UX design skills and principles, I identified tooling inefficiencies and designed, automated, and maintained 13 systems and processes encompassing over 50 core functions, saving my team valuable time to achieve other important results.The design of each one of these 13 systems involved empathetic conversations with team members and stakeholders to understand their needs and wants, which I then synthesized to design tools to improve their work experiences.For one such tool, after initial conversations I analyzed 18 months of specific tool data to identify and confirm weaknesses in the system, and ultimately redesigned the system to one that over time proved to be 27% more effective. -
