CurrentSoftware implementation consultant working within GenTax, an enterprise level tax administration software system, primarily utilizing VB.Net, SQL, and proprietary tools.Maintain existing and providing new code and configuration for various GenTax subsystems including Returns, Refunds, Fraud, Data Warehouse, Treasury Offset Program, and Modernized e-File (MeF). Substantially involved in the fraud and identity verification subsystem.Support current functionality alongside identifying and resolving existing issues. This includes communication with the tax agency for specific requirements; modifying and adding new configuration; rewriting and refactoring code; and testing.Design and test new functionality, including automated processes, and implement performance enhancements. This includes gathering business requirements; rewriting, refactoring, and creating new code; proposing and presenting system changes to the tax agency; testing; and end-user training.
