Here’s the updated version with your new role:Gordon began his career as an English teacher in Utah and at Mesa Junior High School in Arizona. He and his family later relocated to Washington State, where he transitioned into administration at three high schools, eventually becoming the principal of Richland High School.During his tenure as principal, Gordon also served on the board of directors for Goodwill Industries of Columbia and subsequently took on the role of CEO. Following his impactful work at Goodwill, he ventured into entrepreneurship, founding and managing a software development company that achieved global sales. His commitment to education continued as he was elected to the local school board.More recently, Gordon served as the COO of Accel, a global provider of special education and clinical centers, and as a Managing Director of Vseed Capital, a boutique venture capital fund specializing in pre-seed investments. He is now the COO at the American Kennel Club.Gordon is bilingual in English and Spanish. He holds a master’s degree from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, and is currently completing his Ph.D. in business. Gordon and his wife Carrie have five children.
