I am the Sector Head for Energy at the IET. My responsibilities include the articulation and implementation of the Energy sector strategy aligned with the IET strategy. I am tasked with leading the sector in creating IET virtual teams to provide the focal point for everything the IET is doing in the Energy Sector. My role also includes introducing key industry and academic figures into the sector team to identify and develop the hot topics, issues and a programme of events / activities. I am also involved with the development of Technical and Professional Communities within the sector which encourage member engagement, retention and professional development.
