I've been a perpetual student at Collin College for several years playing bass in two of the combos at the school. I'm not working on a degree. It's a serious hobby only. I also play bass in a couple of combos outside of the school and direct one of those combos. I have arranged about a dozen jazz tunes for combo performance. I also play bass in a jazz big band outside of school on occasion.My goals - active in retirement, playing bass, riding a sweet Harley-Davidson Heritage Springer motorcycle on epic journeys, volunteer work at local community college, occasionally refurbishing vintage tube guitar amps and vintage tube stereo equipment. Most importantly, hanging out with my wonderful wife and riding with her in a sweet Corvette convertible. Here is stuff I used to do. It's unlikely that I will go back to work to do them again...I've done practically every job in IT at one time or the other since 1976 (requirements, design, development, testing, 3rd party software evaluation, purchase and installation, project management, hardware config/install, software config/install, data center management, computer operations, disaster recovery planning/testing, data center relocation, communications config) - IBM midrange, iSeries, team management experience with UNIX boxesHave directly managed teams up to 43 employees in addition to 7 indirectly managed offshore personnel. Have dealt with all sorts of personnel matters such as poor job performance, attendance, personality conflicts, etc., etc. Have worked with all levels of management from clerical to vice president.Much experience with business applications - order entry, job costing, billing/invoicing, accounts receivable, sales commissions, customer financing management, accounts payable, credit/collections (call center), customer trouble ticketing (call center), technician dispatch and management, time reporting, payroll, HR, general ledger, customer maintenance contract management, inventory, purchasing, warehousing, high visibility fulfillment stream, interfaces to internal apps and externally to vendors.
