About Gordon Mcwilliam

I am an experienced designer acknowledged for creating new and alternate ideas. My 15 year professional career has allowed me to develop over a multitude of design disciplines. I started as a design researcher and industrial product designer but quickly branched out into other design skills. These included concept generation, user experience, corporate brand management, graphic design, marketing, project management, and UI for mobile applications and immersive environments.I class myself as versatile designer who has a strong philosophy that design is about problem solving in a practical way; design must serve a purpose. I have a firm user-centric approach; starting with the end-user and working my way back to the process. This simple methodology coupled with my design background allows me to adapt to ever-changing situations.Design aside, I’m a down to earth 39yr old married man with two awesome children. I'm a gadget enthusiast, who enjoys camping, F1 Motorsport, and gaming (both online and offline). As an individual I strive for success in everything I do. I consider myself dependable, determined and I communicate effectively with people at all levels.
