Lightsense specializes in the use of light (spectroscopy) to identify and detect substances at very low levels including viruses, bacteria, and chemical compounds, and has pioneered the development of hand-held, miniaturized spectrometers. It's first product is the F1 hand-held fentanyl/methamphetamine detector for the law enforcement market.
