Investigate reports of abuse in company services including such areas as: mass mailing spam (UBE/UCE), UseNet, IRC, Web hosting, Hacking, DOS attacks, and unauthorized server operation. Responsible for service suspensions and terminations. Receive, document and process reports of abuse of service via phone, email and as assigned Answer questions from customers, and internal employees, via phone and email regarding warning letters and abuse suspensions, perform necessary callbacks as assigned and escalate calls and investigations as necessary Create documentation of reports in ticketing system following the established guidelines Fully investigate and take appropriate action for every report following the established guidelines and escalation policy Use appropriate tools for the identification of users regarding current open incident tickets May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or required. Demonstrated organizational, detail orientation, prioritization skills and time management skills to ensure that work related activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand and fast paced environment. Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and information. Solid communication skills to effectively deal with various levels of management, staff and/or outside contacts.
