Having been a competitive sportsman for 25+ years, Gordon made the switch to personal training in 2011 after a 15 year career in Information Technology and Marketing. A native of New Zealand, Gordon had been immersed in Sport and technology since graduating Victoria University in Wellington in 1995. Gordon began his career as a business analyst and consultant working with some of NZ’s largest companies including The National Bank of New Zealand, Health Benefits Ltd, Gen-I (Formerly Computerland NZ) and The New Zealand Dairy Board. Gordon left New Zealand in 2000 to play rugby in the US, and settled in New York in 2002. Once established in New York he created 27east.com, Inc., a design, hosting and internet software solutions company. Gordon served as the CEO of 27east and provided services to a variety of companies across a broad spectrum of industries including Information Technology, Fitness, Real Estate, Media (online, offline and sales), Retail and Apparel. A seasoned entrepreneur, Gordon also founded, co-founded or helped establish several other businesses whilst building 27east. Gordon sold 27east in 2007 but continued to provide freelance IT and Web consultancy services through 2009, when he joined Individual Digital, Inc. In 2011 Gordon decided to follow his passion for the fitness industry and moved to full time Personal Training. Since becoming a certified trainer with the National Academy of Sport Medicine (NASM) Gordon has gone on to gather several other qualifications including certified strength coach (CFSC), FMS Level 1 and 2, AIM level 1 and 2 and TPI level 1.Specialties: Fitness and Training, Problem Solving, IT and Operational Management.
