Responsible for planning, organizing and administering agency-wide programs. Directed a team of thirty-two administrative and direct service staff in providing fifty-four beds of shelter, as well as clinical, educational, medical, and prevention wrap-around services to homeless, runaway, and DCFS youth 12-21 years of age. Responsible for all clinical services, including the development and implementation of the comprehensive staff-training program. Responsible for program related physical and financial resources, expenditures, yearly budget development, and evaluation. Completed private, city, state, and federal funding contracts/proposals, and acted as liaison to funding sources. Responsible for agency-wide licensing compliance reviews and other monitoring as indicated. Represented the agency to the community through direct involvement with public, civic, and private community groups and organizations. Participated in board of directors= meetings, executive board meetings, and provided leadership to specific board committees. Participated in the development and execution of various fund-raising activities including corporation, foundation and personal solicitation.
