Responsible for and have delivered:* Balanced Single Agenda for Process (BSAP) which the process that PD use to identify, progress and deliver all it's transactional business process improvement projects. * Following a gateway methodology utilising many Lean tools and techniques (inc A3, Master Schedule, Process Confirmation, Visual Management, 5S, Yamazumi etc) * Utilisation of my variability reduction skills to improve how this process operated (inc standardized documentation, improved process flow, improved governance mechanism and development of meaningful metrics). * Use of Systems Diagnosis tool used to identify & rectify key failings of this business process. * Strengthening our Project Management approach resulting in a single, standardized process for all to follow. * My role then expanded in 2009 where I also became the sole PD representative for 'Unlocking Our Potential' (UOP) and Total Quality Excellence (TQE). UOP is the PD process for identifying and delivering cash flow and profitability projects into the business and TQE is a corporate initiative which focuses upon Failure Mode Avoidance, Problem Solving, Understanding Voice of the Customer, Kaizen, Lean and Continuous Improvement.

Responsible for and have delivered:* Master Black Belt coach to 42 PD Black Belts and over 80 Green Belts. Specific responsibility for supporting the Chassis Engineering functions at Jaguar & Land Rover. * To date, as an MBB, I have closed more than 50 projects that have delivered a total of over $24 million hard savings plus reduced GQRS Survey customer ‘Things gone wrong’ metric by 350 TGW. * Delivered:- 6 full 4x1 week Black Belt DMAIC training courses - Pilot 4x1Combined Black Belt DMAIC/DCOV training wave, the first at Jaguar/Land Rover. - 2x1 week DCOV 'top-up' courses for trained DMAIC BBs. - Initial deployment of Business DCOV training. * Provided statistical expertise to Senior Management within Chassis PD and act as a mentor to many Project Champions in this organisation.

Responsible for and have delivered:* Led and coached three consumer-driven 6 Sigma project teams, with specific focus upon improving Freelander product quality and customer satisfaction. * Support Black Belt to 2 additional projects. * Coached and mentored 12 Green Belts (6 Manufacturing and 6 Engineering). * Delivered three Green Belt courses (1 Manufacturing and 2 Technical). * Achieved Black Belt Certification following successful completion of 2 projects, DMAIC exam and Leadership training. * Organised and facilitated IMR control chart course for Wave 1 and 2 Black Belt Candidates. * Organised Black Belt 'Teach In' which provided links to other key business systems (Central Metrology, FCPA and Variability Reduction Teams). * Ongoing coaching and mentoring support being provided to fellow Black Belts, Green Belts and organisation when required

Responsible for and have delivered:* Leading and facilitating the Quality Improvement of all current Freelander products, with specific focus upon Current Engineering activities. * Developing plans to meet the Quality Targets for and 2000/2001 in terms of customer satisfaction, warranty reduction and improving fault per vehicle performance. * Major focus placed upon external customer measures including Warranty. * Additional responsibilities included: - Project managing Freelander leather seat introduction- Supporting manufacturing and assembly operations - Providing and Engineering input into the internal QZ audit process and Quality Management Module (QMM) process. - Specific support and focus upon the Freelander Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) for Engineering issues

Responsible for and have delivered:* Leading the transformation of Rover Group from a problem solving to a process orientated company. * Other activities included supporting the Process Improvement efforts within each Business Unit * Liaison and delivering courses with our external Consultants* Organising new training courses and coaching, consulting and advising individuals taking the path of Process Improvement and Variability Reduction. * Leadership of the Evaluating the Measurement Process (EMP) Steering team was also provided via my MSc project. * Leading the Process Improvement Through Variability Reduction strategy at Land Rover Vehicles. 8 Other activities include attending, delivering and facilitating training seminars, liaison with New Model Project teams and supporting Problem Solving activities within Current Engineering.

Responsible for and have delivered:* Maintaining the corporate problem database for current and new models (inc Discovery current, 95MY, 96MY, Range Rover Classic and special projects (i.e. Reliability Testing and Hot Environment Testing). * Producing management reports, logging and updating problem folders * Supporting all new model build activities, Problem Geba events and conducting problem review meetings with problem owners.

Responsible for and have delivered:* Developing and writing vehicle test programmes* Conducting physical vehicle tests to standards (inc overseas hot environmental support, vehicle preparation, vehicle re-ordering, vehicle disposal and, writing vehicle test reports)* Supporting various test functions via Ride and Drives, competitor tests and rig tests. * Initial reponsibilities included running, reporting and maintaining durability fleet vehicles, investigating special test routes, assessing test vehicles and writing validation reports).
