- Collaborated on the replacement of a CORBA and sockets integration solution with a SOAP and Message Queueing based solution.- Collaborated in the design, development and implementation of an MQ processing approach to replace a socket based application execution module capable of dynamically executing a specific version of a COBOL business object from a midrange client application. - Worked intensively as part of a middle-ware task-force to mature the redesigned infrastructure to achieve a reliability metric exceeding 99%.-Developed a number of web-service middleware components in various n-tier configurations to provide connectivity between web based clients and mainframe business objects and data. Client applications included customer service front-end applications, web portals for various purposes, IVR systems and midrange batch processing. - The most significant accomplishment during this phase was the development of an Eligibility web service that supports SOAP and MQ interfaces for client applications, performs conditional webservice and MQ calls to four independent back-end eligibility sources, and JDBC calls to three separate databases. This web service was implemented using the Spring framework's dependency injection and IoC.

- Provided analysis, design, development and support for all aspects of Triwest (DoD) account. Development was primarily Informix 4GL.-Liased extensively with account management, the client and third party vendors to ensure all aspects of the account were supported to the clients' satisfaction.- Led a team of developers in a 4 month project to design, develop and implement Online Transaction Processsing(OLTP) and monitoring processes for performing Drug Utilization Review(DUR) processing during a sub-second OLTP adjudication transaction, against WebMD's DoD Pharmacy Data Transaction Service (PDTS). Development was done using C, Informix 4GL and Unix shell scripting.-Collaborated extensively with WebMD resources to implement PDTS processing.
