Support Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Production. Maintain control of documentation: revision control, components used, pricing, and supplier database.Determine pricing and profit margins for component and assembly levels including relevant quantity price breaks and MOQs to minimize costs and maximize profits.Create/maintain all assembly builds within MRP database including pricing, cross-references to customer part numbers, standard Bill of Materials (BOM), and production routing steps/times.Review all customer documentation including BOMs, assembly drawings, BTP drawings, and Part Definition Form (PDF) spec sheet data. Handle SPS, ESW, ECO, SNF, and RFI.Responsible for locating/sourcing all suppliers (domestic and international) for OEM and BTP items. Interface and qualifying new BTP suppliers to ensure capabilities, capacity, and customer specific process requirements.Extensive knowledge of coordinating all entities involved in a supply chain: pricing control, OEM product integrity, lead-time reduction, forecasting, stocking agreements, and obsolescence management.Integral in quoting, maintaining, and monitoring GSA Contract assembly pricing of 1600+/- line items including the designation of minimum order quantity stock levels for procurement on the individual component level.Have direct communication with vendors/suppliers, sales representatives, customers, buyers, planners, and engineers. Maintain healthy, ongoing relationships to promote trust, receive timely responses, solve problems, determine beneficial resolutions, negotiate cost reductions, resolve delivery issues, and resolve various material and/or process related issues.Coordinate SCM activities associated with procurement, material and inventory control management, lean inventory, and safety stock re-order levels to ensure we meet customer delivery requirements while minimizing inventory investment and liability.
