I have a passion for and have spent the last 7 years working with young people (YP) and adults of varying abilities, multiple Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) who have experienced Domestic Abuse (DA). I have experienced this from both a carer’s, educational institution’s and therapist’s perspective. On completing my PGDip in counselling and psychotherapy and becoming a qualified psychotherapist and member of the BACP, I have developed a Humanistic philosophy to counselling specialising in Person Centred therapy while also being trained in goal based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and creative approaches to therapy.
