This department includes over 60 IT professionals that administer everything from ERP systems to networks. o Responsible for US helpdesk, database, and network teams.o Reorganized Steel Group IT from a divisional architecture to a more centralized organization. This included creating new positions, job descriptions/responsibilities, and negotiating with divisional IT Managers for more centralized control. o Enterprise Phone System – Deliver on business requirements, research, build business case, manage project to completion with 5 year global roadmap. o CMC Rebar Fabrication Server Consolidation – Formed team and project to consolidate 36 Operational Fabrication Servers. o Enterprise Remote Backup System – Improve backup reliability and reduce hardware and software costs over 180 US locations.o SMS 2003 Deployment to cover all Steel Group locations.o Full Desktop deployment process design, creation, and support.
