I've two goals - provide people with the support they need to make safe investments and to make a positive impact on society through Ethical Property Investments and Empowered Liveability. With over 20 years of experience in the finance industry, my personal motto, #DoGoodMakeMoney, drives every action, decision, and interaction.Driving social change isn't easy. As a kid from overseas, new to Australia, I know what it's like to be misunderstood and not fit in. Societal stereotypes and perceptions take time to change, and I'm patient. I'm not sitting around waiting for someone to do something. The initiatives I've created lay the groundwork for scalable solutions to Australia's housing crisis, especially for people with disabilities with more inclusive housing.Arriving in Australia in 1990, life was tough, but a pivotal change occurred when my father started attending property investment seminars, exposing me to the potential wealth in real estate.For my 18th birthday, Dad offered me a choice - property deposit or car. I choose the deposit, starting my journey toward impactful property investment with a goal of owning 10 properties in 10 years. Eleven years ago, I began working with clients to teach them how to become mortgage terminators and build a healthy property portfolio. After deep conversations with Nicole Doherty and Richard Branson, I saw the gap in the NDIS housing space for quality new houses for people with disabilities to live independently or with support while helping everyday Australians build their nest egg. Empowered Liveability was born in 2017, providing this kind of housing, quickly becoming one of the foremost privately-owned providers of NDIS housing in Victoria.Making money for its own sake is not enough. If I'm going to help people create wealth through property, I want to do it ethically and with a social purpose. It's possible to do good AND make money - the two aren't mutually exclusive. It's not about what you do, but how and why you do it.Ethical Property Investments in 2020 marked a turning point in my mission to tackle Australia's housing crisis for people with disabilities. I envisioned a commercial venture with a profound social cause by tailoring housing solutions for people with disabilities and finding investors to buy the houses.Forming strategic partnerships with organisations, including The Mental Health Foundation, created groundbreaking designs for specialised housing, liberating many from institutional care and empowering them to live independently.
