Glenn grew up with parents that immigrated to the US with not much in their pocket. He admires how they raised 2 children, especially Glenn, who was a troublemaker growing up. But his parents kept him in-line by emphasizing education & working hard. Glenn will never forget his father bringing him to work early mornings for his father's gardening business. He didn't enjoy it, but it taught him a valuable lesson to work hard, but also to motivate him in finding a good career.Glenn's turning point was in 9th grade when he took a computer class with Mr. Ayers. It sparked his love of personal computers and technology. This is what he knows changed his life and is still possible with many kids in exposing them to STEM and business. It can make the world a better place. This passion for personal computers & technology came through when he tried to find a job while he was fresh out of high school. Glenn walked the streets of West Los Angeles to all the personal computer stores looking for a part-time job while he was going to college full-time. One store gave him a chance, Computer Terminal who took a shot by giving him a part-time retail sales job. Glenn loved talking with customers about computers and learned when you're passionate about something, it's infectious. These tenants of hard work, motivation, passion for technology is what forms Glenn's foundation. He takes great pride on being consistent with this in his work and personal life. He hopes people that work with him see that he's reliable and can be counted on. This is why Glenn believes he's good at developing partnerships and delivering results that help both parties succeed. In Glenn's spare time, he enjoys traveling, volunteering, snowboarding & golf. He especially likes mentoring young people, as he has been a USC Marshall School of Business student mentor for 10+ years and is also an Earl Woods Scholar Program mentor. Anything he can do to help a young person gives him great joy. He has a thirst for learning from young people, which keeps him young at heart!

I help youth build character and life skills through the game of golf. I enjoy introducing golf & coaching kids to help them improve in the sport, but more importantly, it's rewarding to see them grow as a person through our life skills curriculum.

I had the privilege of working with K-12 customers, who are doing the important work of helping our youth learn and prepare for success in their lives. I collaborated with strategic partners & an amazing Microsoft v-team to support our customers' mission for student success. I consistently grew our cloud business double-digits through a statewide agreement called CAMSA and helped customers transform their IT infrastructure, data, security, communications and devices.

This was my first people management role at Microsoft, responsible for leading our CA & HI Account Team Unit (ATU) sales team. I had the privilege of working with some amazing account executives & account technology specialists who I learned a lot from. I was proud of our team for consistently growing the business double-digits, exceeding our attainment goals, including closing a $4M deal at a large school district and a $1M per year Azure deal. I learned a lot about balancing the demands of our business with employee needs, including becoming adept at operational excellence, hiring and promoting people.

I dove deeper into the partner ecosystem with this role as I was responsible for driving $100M of Microsoft SMB revenue in the Southwest territory. This is where I formed executive relationships with business owners/entrepreneurs that I admire & respect. Their passion for growing their business inspired me to help them achieve success with Microsoft. I helped convince them to invest in the transition to cloud (Office 365 & Azure), connecting them to the right people & programs to help drive growth and their managed services practice. I also helped build the IAMCP chapter in SoCal, a P2P (peer-to-peer) network, which became the fastest growing & largest chapter in the US. This not only helped build a strong network of partners in the territory, but also grew our cloud business by triple digits.

I transitioned into the channel distribution world by managing our West Region partnership with the leading distributor, Ingram Micro. This is where I learned how to take scaling to new heights, as I was responsible for increasing Frequency, Reach & Yield. I helped manage a team of 7 inside sales reps to help coach & drive a strong partner portfolio which produced 30% YoY growth, #1 in the US.

I joined the NSI (National Systems Integrator) team to do strategic partner recruiting. This was a completely new area for me as I learned how to position Microsoft to non-Microsoft partners (IBM, Sun, Linux), engaging with executives to convince them to invest in a Microsoft practice to grow their business. One of the successes I had was Incentra Solutions, helping them build a Microsoft practice, bringing in over $1.2M of net new revenue and becoming a managed Microsoft partner.

I transitioned into the partner ecosystem by recruiting, developing & managing Microsoft partners, including SI's, large resellers, VAR's, OEM's and ISV's to help connect partners with customers & our field sales teams. I learned how to scale with partners & develop give-gets with a "go-to partner" program called All-Star Framework, which helped grow our business with partners.

My first job at Microsoft, transitioning from a technical role into a sales role. It was a lot harder than I imagined as I had to learn to be primary point for customers, while learning the Microsoft culture, acronyms, programs and resources. This is where I cut my teeth on forming executive relationships, negotiating and closing a large Enterprise Agreement worth $8.2M.
Cupertino, California, Us
This was my first job after college, thanks to my internship as an Apple student rep at USC. I honed & developed my communication, presentation & demo skills at Apple by delivering to enterprise & education accounts such as SAIC, Qualcomm & CSU. I also made a lot of mistakes as a young professional, but thanks to some great mentors & co-workers, I learned and grew from it.
